Trump Winery in Charlottesville, VA provided a stunning backdrop for Anna and James’ Engagement photos. Anna’s flowing blue dress looked absolutely perfect against the romantic weeping willow and the lush winery views, creating such an elegant and timeless feel. Later, she switched to a bold red dress that truly popped—especially with both Anna and James rocking their boots for a fun, relaxed vibe. Congratulations to this beautiful couple, Anna and James!
A surprise proposal at Veritas Vineyards! The Farmhouse at Veritas was the perfect setting for Ryan to pop the question—and Julia said yes! After the big moment, and a few photos, the two enjoyed a quiet lunch surrounded by the vineyard’s stunning scenery. Congratulations Ryan & Julia!

Last week, I had the pleasure of photographing the engagement of a wonderful couple, Courtney and Christian, at the breathtaking Albemarle Estate at Trump Winery in Charlottesville, Virginia. The January weather was unseasonably perfect, providing a beautiful backdrop for their love story. I recently had the chance to photograph an engagement session at Winridge Manor with Hadley and Francis. Let me tell you, it was absolutely gorgeous! I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding here not long ago. The venue is such a beautiful place because of its gorgeous gardens and stunning architecture. It is the perfect backdrop for engagement and wedding photos!
From the very first shot, you could immediately feel the love and excitement between Hadley and Francis. It made every moment so easy and fun to capture. As we walked around the grounds of Winridge Manor, they fully embraced the beautiful scenery around them. We wandered through the lush gardens. Of course we had to take some photos by the grand columns on the venue's front porch. Each location we visited seemed to add something special to their photos, bringing out even more of their connection.
Hadley’s dresses were perfect for the setting. They complemented the natural beauty of the surroundings. One of my favorite moments was when we found a spot by the greenery. Hadley and Francis shared a sweet kiss while the sunlight peeked through the trees behind them. It’s moments like these I love to capture in photos.
I can’t wait to see what their wedding day holds, but for now, these photos are such a beautiful reflection of the love they share. The session was a perfect glimpse into the beautiful adventure that awaits this sweet couple. Congratulations Hadley and Francis!
