2016 was a busy year for Karin Nicole Photography!  I had 17 weddings and second shot a ton of others!  I am so grateful for all my couples who allowed me to capture their wedding day.  I enjoyed working with all of them.  It is such a blessing to be able to do what I love!!  I'd say I'm a bit addicted to pictures!!  Here are some highlights from this past year.  I included a few shots from high school senior, family, and engagement sessions.  Looking forward to another fantastic year for KNP in 2017!  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

The Manor House at King's Charter was the beautiful location for this November Wedding. Jennifer and Harrison were blessed with great weather for their outdoor ceremony surrounded by close family and friends.  I was honored to capture this wedding for this sweet, beautiful couple! Congratulations to Jennifer and Harrison!  

Charlottesville Fall Wedding | Old Metropolitan Hall | Bridgid & Mathew

This Charlottesville Fall Wedding took place at Holy Comforter Catholic Church followed by a reception at Old Metropolitan Hall.  Bridgid and Mathew were blessed with a beautiful Fall Day.  Bridgid was a gorgeous bride who married her handsome Marine, Mathew.  Thank you again for your service Mathew!  I especially love the moment when Bridgid danced with her sweet mom. House Mountain Inn | Lexington, VA Wedding | Katelyn & James

Katelyn and James were married at House Mountain Inn located in Lexington, VA.  Although the day was cloudy with sprinkling rain most of the day, we still got some outside shots of this blush, wine and lavender wedding!  Congratulations to this beautiful couple Katelyn & James!

Lee Chapel located on the campus of Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA was the gorgeous location for Jenna and Anthony's ceremony followed by their reception at House Mountain Inn.  It was a destination wedding for these two who met and fell in love when they were students here.  What a gorgeous couple.  Thank you Jenna and Anthony for allowing me to capture your special day.  Congratulations to you both!!

Farmington Country Club was the gorgeous venue in Charlottesville, VA for Laura and Jimmy's August wedding.  They were married at UVA Chapel followed by their reception at Farmington. Laura's choice for blue bridesmaid dresses made this wedding party pop!  Love Laura's beautiful smile!!  Congratulations to this lovely couple, Laura and Jimmy!

Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden | Richmond Wedding | Kierstin & Mike

Charlottesville Wedding | Farmington Country Club Wedding | Sarah & Landon

Sarah and Landon were married at First Presbyterian Church in Charlottesville followed by a reception at Farmington Country Club.  The bridesmaids wore mint dresses and the florals were coral, pink and orange.  These colors popped!  Such a pretty day for a pretty wedding. Congratulations to the beautiful bride and groom, Sarah and Landon!

Backyard Wedding | Evington, VA Wedding | Kristen & Chad

This backyard wedding in Evington, VA has been Kristen's dream ever since she was a little girl. Friends of the family had opened up their home to host Kristen and Chad's beautiful backyard wedding.  Other friends catered the event, set up the details and provided the music for this blush, champagne and sage color wedding. Take a look at those flowers!  The bride and groom chose to have a first look so most of their photos were done before the ceremony!  The weather couldn't have been more perfect. Congratulations Kristen and Chad!  A lovely wedding!

Tresca on 8th Wedding | Old Pate Chapel | Lynchburg, VA Wedding | Denise & Thomas

Tresca on 8th in Lynchburg, VA was the venue for this past weekend's wedding.  Denise and Thomas had a beautiful ceremony at Old Pate Chapel.  Back at Tresca, the brick provided a great backdrop for their portraits. It was a very classy wedding at Tresca on 8th.  Congratulations Denise and Thomas!  

Forest Oaks Wedding | Natural Bridge, VA | Jade & Jake

Forest Oaks located in Natural Bridge was the historic venue for Jade and Jake's wedding. Beautiful scenery!  We were fortunate to have missed the rain once again for this ceremony.  The sunroom provided such a beautiful backdrop for Jade's bridal portraits and for her detail shots! Oak Ridge Estate Wedding | Arrington, VA | Kristina & Jason

Oak Ridge Estate located in Arrington, VA is a gorgeous historic venue that has so much to offer for a wedding day!  Kristina and Jason were blessed to have missed the rain in time to have their ceremony outside with breathtaking views!  There is so much character within the main house-take a look at the stained glass windows from which I hung Kristina's dress!  This was a small, intimate wedding for a lovely couple. Thank you Kristina and Jason for allowing me to capture your beautiful wedding day at Oak Ridge Estate!

Jackson Memorial Hall at VMI (Virginia Military Institute) was the ceremony site for this wedding followed by the reception at House Mountain Inn in Lexington, VA.  Joseph, a recent graduate of VMI married his beautiful bride Emily this past weekend.  Emily's gown was gorgeous with those lace sleeves!  What a classy wedding and a lot of fun!  Congratulations to you Emily and Joseph!
